Dalcahue

Its name comes from the "dalcas" boats of Chono origin. Dalcahue emerged as a village in the 19th century during the timber and livestock boom. Among its points of interest are the Ethnographic Historical Museum, oriented to the races of chonos and huilliches, the handicraft fair that is dedicated to woolen fabrics, carved matera and basketry, and the Nuestra Señora de los Dolores Church located in front of the main square.
